1 year ago, my family and had just gotten back from The Jamestown Quadricentennial Celebration in Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Jamestown. It was a wonderful time of thanksgiving to God for His Providence in our nation's founding.

My latest project...

Saying her prayers...

For Mother's day I made Mama a nightgown. Well, when Sarah saw it, she wanted one. So, here it is! I did ribbon embroidery on it. I love how it turned out!

What he does almost every time I hold him...

I have a silver necklace that is very special to me.
I have a little brother who is VERY special to me.
Well, this little brother loves anything that shines...and tries his hardest to get it in his mouth. Including my necklace.
Thankfully, the length of the chain makes it very hard for him to do so...but he still tries his hardest. He was overjoyed when I was given another necklace that shines that he can successfully get in his mouth. So I try my hardest to distract him.

Brianna, Daddy & I after High Tea

On the second day of the retreat we listened to some messages, had High Tea, and walked through Callaway Gardens beautiful Azalea trail. That night, we went with our good friends the Cochrans, Ockers (pictured above) and some new friends that we met there to a really good sandwich place.

Flowers at Callaway Gardens

Vision Forum's Father & Daughter Retreat took place at the beautiful Callaway Gardens of Pine Mountain, Georgia. The Azaleas were in full bloom and were lovely. My parents just got a new camera, so I was able to get lots of pictures. Enjoy!
